A fall favorite, a sweet and savory snack and dipping sauce made with JuJu Royal Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Ginger Honey. A tasty root vegetable that’s loaded with fiber and antioxidants, that you can enjoy all year long.
Sweet Potato Sticks
- 1 lb sweet potatoes, scrubbed and dried
- 2 tbsp JuJu Royal Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
Preheat oven 425 F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice potatoes into strips.
In a large bowl, whisk olive oil, chili, onion, garlic powders and salt until nicely blended.
Add potato strips and toss to evenly coat.
Spread potato strips onto baking sheet, single layer.
Bake 20 minutes, turning fries midway. Bake until potatoes tender and slightly brown around the edges.
Sprinkle extra salt, if desired and serve immediately.
Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup JuJu Royal Ginger Honey
- 1 tbsp salted butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
Instructions
In saucepan, over low-medium heat add pecans and butter.
Once butter melts, add honey and all spices.
When honey starts to boil and thicken, remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
Serve at room temperature.
